Sub: Mexico Medicines procurement tender – UNOPS

We are glad to inform you that the United Nations Office for Project Services –UNOPS signed an agreement with the Mexican Institute of Health for Wellbeing (INSABI) for the procurement of medicines and medical aid supplies for the period 2021 - 2024. INSABI is a new government department of Mexico tasked with providing medical services to millions of Mexicans without insurance.

Through the modality of international tender bidding, UNOPS seeks to encourage effective competition, equal participation and transparency, all while ensuring the best price and quality conditions. UNOPS extends an invitation to companies from the national and international markets that are interested in participating in the procurement procedures for medicines and medical aid supplies to Mexico.

The medicine groups that will be up for solicitation by UNOPS are: Analgesia, Anesthesia, Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Hematology, Immuno-allergy, Poisoning, Medical Aid Supplies, Nephrology, Pneumology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Otorhinolaryngology, Family Planning, Psychiatry, Rheumatology, and Solutions.

Interested members are requested to log on to https://mercado.unops.org/ and complete the online form "Request for Information" and to view and get to know the list of supplies required by the Mexican authorities.

Dates for participating in the tender process: August 25th - September 15th, 2020 at 24:00 (Mexico City time zone, GMT -5).
