Subject: Webinar on the evolving tariff scenario in the United States

This is to inform our member companies that this Council has received a message from Department of Commerce, regarding the above mentioned subject.

Agenda: Embassy of India, Washington D.C. in collaboration with Mr. Ashok Parasuram, a supply chain solutions expert and Mr. Martin Behr, International Customs and Trade Lawyer will be holding a Webinar on the evolving tariff scenario in the United States for knowledge sharing with Indian exporters to the US.

The general theme of the webinar would be to address the various questions / concerns of the exporters. It would also cover topics related to:

1. The types of tariffs which currently exist and how they apply to the current environment

2. The duty structure as they apply to products coming from India

3. Potential remedies which exporters and their import partners can pursue

4. Recent Business2Consumer (B2C) changes, as well as Business2Business2Consumer (B2B2C) opportunities

5. Invoice valuations and opportunities to improve clearance times
