Subject: Webinar on 11.Dec.2020 on “Indo-Myanmar Pharmaceutical Cooperation-Supply of APIs and joint production of medicines (antibiotics, anti-diabetic and cardiac medicines)”

 

We would like to inform member companies Embassy of India, Myanmar and Pharmexcil is organising a joint programme on 11.Dec.2020 to deliberate on the pharmaceutical cooperation in the area of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) supplies and joint production of formulations of antibiotics, anti-diabetic and cardiac medicines.

 

The Ministry of Health & Sports, Myanmar has expressed interest to source reliable and quality manufacturers of the APIs from India so that they can get the APIs can be directly imported from Indian companies, thereby reducing the cost.

 

Further, the Ministry is also interested in considering joint production of medicines especially antibiotics, anti-diabetic and cardiac medicines. Myanmar currently uses 13 Antigens/ 11 vaccines in its routine immunization program procured from UNICEF, for which it was interested in joint production in a partnership model (Myanmar Pharmaceutical Industries under the Ministry of Planning, Finance, and Industry and Indian industries) with an Indian company.

 

We are sharing the list of APIs (70 plus products) received from Myanmar side for your ready reference and request member companies manufacturing the listed API products and also the pharmaceutical formulation units having the capability and willingness to take up the joint production of medicines especially antibiotics, anti-diabetic and cardiac medicines, to register and join this important webinar.

 

The webinar will have two sessions

 

Session One:Presentations from India and Myanmar side on Pharmaceutical Developments and Cooperation

Session Two:B2B exchange of the company profiles with Myanmar side.
