Dear Sir/Madam
Subject:Inviting issues/suggestions on "Specific Trade Concerns (STCs) in respect of Ayurvedic and Pharmaceutical products exported from India" to Oceania for discussion in the forthcoming meeting of the WTO Committee.
We would like to inform our Members that Council has received a communication from the Office of Department of Ayush informing that the WTO Committee of Sanitary and Phytosanitary measures/Technical Barrier to Trade (TBT) is meeting during the month of March 2014.
In this context, Department of Ayush has requested information on the issues/suggestions relating to exports, if any, pertaining to the following Oceania Countries like Australia, New Zealand, Fiji etc)
Sanitary and Phytosanitary measures/Technical Barrier to Trade (TBT) while exporting from India.
Members dealing with Ayush and Pharmaceutical products are requested to kindly to take note of this important meeting and submit their issues and suggestions(relating to SPS/TBT), if any, pertaining to the above subject to info@pharmexcil.com, by/before 19th March 2014 for onward submission to the Department of Ayush.
