Subject: Invitation for Inputs/Suggestions on Coastal Cargo Promotion Scheme (CCPS)

We would like to bring to your attention the initiatives regarding the Coastal Cargo Promotion Scheme (CCPS) aimed at enhancing supply chain logistics, cost-efficiency, and seamless transport of pharmaceutical goods via coastal shipping routes.

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways is rolling out the ₹10,012 crore Coastal Cargo Promotion Scheme to shift freight movement from road and rail to coastal shipping and inland waterways.

The Core Target is to double the combined modal share of coastal shipping and inland waterways from 6% to 12% by 2047.

To ensure that the policy frameworks and promotional mechanisms under the CCPS align with industry requirements, Pharmexcil is inviting inputs, suggestions, and feedback from all member exporters.
