Subject: Invitation to Participate in the State-Level Workshop on “Leveraging FTAs – Outreach Programme” in Goa on 19 October 2026
Dear Members,
Greetings from PHARMEXCIL!
We are pleased to inform you that the Department of Commerce, Government of India, in collaboration with the Industries Department, Government of Goa, is organising a State-Level Workshop on “Leveraging FTAs – Outreach Programme” on Monday, 19 October 2026, from 10:00 a.m. onwards at Terminal Banquets, Caculo Enclave, St. Inez, Panaji, Goa – 403001.
The workshop aims to sensitise exporters on effectively utilising the benefits available under India’s Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), disseminate information on products with high export potential in FTA partner markets, and provide a platform to discuss challenges faced by exporters while trading under these agreements. The discussions will also focus on non-tariff barriers (NTBs), including Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) and Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) measures, which may affect exports despite preferential or zero-duty access.
In this regard, PHARMEXCIL invites its members, particularly pharmaceutical and healthcare product exporters based in Goa, to participate in the workshop and benefit from the deliberations.
Members are requested to kindly:
-
Ensure senior-level representation from their organisations at the workshop.
-
Share their experiences and challenges in availing FTA benefits, including regulatory hurdles and other non-tariff barriers encountered in export markets.
-
Highlight successful cases of utilising FTAs to commence or expand exports to India's recent FTA partner countries, wherever applicable.
Registration: Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Interested members are requested to register through the following link:
