Dear Members,
Greetings from Pharmexcil!
Subject: Expression of Interest for Participation in Indian Pharmaceutical Business Delegation to the Netherlands
We are pleased to inform you that Pharmexcil, in close coordination with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in New Delhi and the Embassy of India in the Netherlands, proposes to mount a focused business delegation to the Netherlands in November 2026.
The proposed delegation is intended to create targeted business opportunities for Indian pharmaceutical companies through direct engagement with government authorities, regulatory agencies, healthcare institutions, pharmaceutical companies, importers, distributors, procurement organisations and other key stakeholders in the Netherlands.
Given the focused nature of the programme, participation in the delegation will be limited to a maximum of 30 companies. The programme is envisaged to include business forums, market presentations, B2B meetings, institutional interactions and industry visits, providing participating companies with opportunities to explore market access, commercial partnerships, procurement opportunities and other potential areas of collaboration.
Please note:The proposed programme is tentative. The final itinerary, dates, activities and participating stakeholders are subject to confirmation by the respective Indian and Dutch Missions and other stakeholders and may be modified, if required.
Eligibility
Participation in the proposed delegation will be considered for companies that have SRA approvals or are currently in the process of obtaining SRA approvals, or can supply the relevant medicines from SRA/EU-GMP approved manufacturing units.
Important:As the delegation is intended to be focused and limited to a maximum of 30 companies, submission of an EOI will not automatically guarantee participation. The final list of participating companies will be shortlisted by the Embassy of the Netherlands based on the information and responses provided by the companies in the Google Form, with due consideration to the relevance of their product portfolio and the requirements/opportunities identified for the Dutch market.
Additional Information for the Netherlands Market
To facilitate focused B2B meetings and engagement with Dutch healthcare stakeholders, interested member companies may be required to provide detailed information regarding their relevant product portfolio, including:
-
Product name, active ingredient, strength, dosage form and ATC code, wherever available.
-
EU/Dutch registration status and expected registration timeline, if the product is not currently registered.
-
EMA/US FDA approval status and any significant regulatory issues during the last three years, wherever applicable.
-
Relevant products corresponding to the identified opportunities/rankings in the Netherlands market.
-
Details of the manufacturing facility from which the relevant products can be supplied, including SRA/EU-GMP approval status, wherever applicable.
A product list shared by the Embassy of the Netherlands is available for reference. Members are requested to review the list and identify relevant products from their portfolio while completing the EOI.
For clarity, the terminology used in the Netherlands market information is as follows:
-
“No generics available (in 2025)”refers to products requested in tenders for which no proposals were received, although Dutch stakeholders believe that generic alternatives may exist.
-
“Limited number of generic alternatives”indicates that only a limited number of generic alternatives are currently available.
-
“No licensed (or authorized) medicinal product available”refers to situations where only compounded preparations are currently available, while a registered medicinal product could potentially be made available.
Based on the product name and ATC classification, the rank indicates the relative level of interest for the Dutch market from a health-insurance perspective. Companies are therefore requested to carefully review the product list and provide information on relevant products from their portfolio.
Companies are requested to keep the above information readily available and provide the same as part of the delegation participation process, as and when required by Pharmexcil and/or the Embassy of the Netherlands.
Expression of Interest
Pharmexcil invites its member companies interested in participating in the proposed business delegation to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) by completing the Google Form provided below.
Google Form
Submit the Expression of Interest Form
Important Note
-
Companies meeting the above criteria and interested in participating are requested to complete the Google Form on or before 9 October 2026.
-
Submission of the EOI is non-binding and is intended solely to assess the level of interest among Pharmexcil members and facilitate planning of the proposed delegation.
-
Given the focused nature and limited participation of up to 30 companies, the final selection of participating companies will be undertaken by the Embassy of the Netherlands based on the information submitted through the Google Form.
-
The final programme, participation fee, eligibility/participation requirements and logistical details will be communicated separately to the shortlisted companies once the programme is confirmed.
We encourage eligible members to take advantage of this opportunity to explore targeted business partnerships, market access and commercial opportunities in the Netherlands.
We look forward to your active participation and continued support.
Warm regards,
Raja Bhanu
Director General
