Subject: Urgent: Submission of Inputs on Issues Faced by the Indian Pharmaceutical Industryin the European Union

The Department of Commerce, Government of India, has requested Pharmexcil to compile industry-specific inputson the issues being faced by the Indian pharmaceutical industryin the European Union.

Membercompanies exporting pharmaceutical products to the European Union are requested to provide specific details onthe issuesencountered by them, particularly in relation to:

• Number of pending applications;
• Specific EU regulations or procedural requirements causing delays;
• Delays in inspections, if any; and
• Non-availability of auditors, wherever applicable.

For ease of submission and compilation, members are requested to note the following:

• Submission mode:Responses may be submitted through the Google Form provided below.
• Purpose:The information will help strengthen India’s position during the forthcoming discussions.

Responses must be submitted by 5:00 PM on 10.08.2026.
