Subject: Preparatory Action for India–UK CETA – Submission of Potential Pharmaceutical Export Consignments
Dear Sir/Madam,
As you are aware, the India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) will come into force on 15 July 2026, marking a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral trade between India and the United Kingdom.
To facilitate a smooth implementation of the Agreement and showcase the pharmaceutical sector's readiness, all pharmaceutical exporters are requested to initiate preparatory action by identifying potential export consignments that are likely to benefit under the Agreement and can be flagged off on the date of its entry into force.
