Subject: Procurement of drugs from India - Armenia
We would like to inform you of a significant opportunity arising from recent developments in the Republic of Armenia’s healthcare sector.
As conveyed by the Embassy of India in Yerevan, the Government of Armenia has launched a Universal Health Care (UHC) Scheme effective 01 January 2026, aimed at providing mandatory state-subsidized health coverage to all citizens. Under this initiative, the Armenian Ministry of Health has identified a range of pharmaceutical products—primarily in the oncology segment—for procurement from India.
In this regard, we have received (via the Embassy) a Note Verbale containing:

Members engaged in the oncology segment are requested to review the attached list and take necessary action, where applicable. Members interested in supplying the Oncology Products under the UHC Scheme as per the list enclosed are requested to submit their details of the products through the link given below on Urgent basis:

The Armenian Ministry of Health has assured support to Indian companies in the product registration process. Any challenges or issues faced during engagement may be directly taken up with the Ministry for expedited resolution.
