Subject: Invitation for Expression of Interest – India–Japan Collaboration in Pharmaceuticals &
Medical Devices
Dear Sir/Madam,
We would like to inform you that the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and
Fertilizers, Government of India, is seeking details of Indian pharmaceutical and medical device
companies interested in collaborating with Japanese companies under the upcoming India–Japan
Economic Security Dialogue.
The collaboration opportunities are in the following areas:
a) API & KSM Manufacturing
b) Low-cost medical devices such as medical imaging devices, portable MRI systems, Portable
and Compact X-ray Systems etc.
c) Biopharma and Biosimilars
In this regard, manufacturers meeting the following criteria are requested to share their interest at
the earliest using the Google Form provided below:
• Having manufacturing presence or partnerships in Japan;
• Currently dealing in the above-mentioned products;
• Interested in technology collaboration with Japanese companies; and/or
• Seeking to expand their exports to Japan.

The deadline for submission is latest by tomorrow i.e. 8th May 2026, EOD.
The information received will be consolidated and shared with the Department of Pharmaceuticals
