Greetings from PHARMEXCIL.

We are pleased to inform you that the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (PHARMEXCIL), with the support of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, is organising a Chintan Shivir on the Pharmaceutical Sector on April 04, 2026 in Hyderabad at Hotel ITC Kohinoor.

The Inaugural Session will be chaired by Shri Rajesh Agrawal, IAS, Commerce Secretary, Department of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, from 10:30 AM to 11:20 AM.

This Chintan Shivir is being organised as part of continued efforts to engage with industry stakeholders to deliberate on key issues, policy interventions, and opportunities to strengthen India’s pharmaceutical exports. This edition follows the successful Chintan Shivir sessions held earlier in Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.

The programme will cover focused sessions on:

• Impact of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation on Global Harmonisation in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs

• India’s Foreign Trade Policy and Role of DGFT in Export Promotion and Compliance

• Strategies for Enhancing Pharmaceutical Exports including Regulatory Compliance, Market Expansion, and Government Support

We request all member companies to kindly participate in the Inaugural Session as well as the subsequent technical sessions and discussions, and take advantage of this important platform for direct engagement with policymakers.

There is no participation fee, however, prior registration is mandatory due to limited seating.
