Subject: Urgent Request for Data on Solvents used by Pharmaceutical Industry and Price Escalation due to West Asia Crisis

In light of the recent geopolitical disruptions in West Asia, the  bulk drug and intermediate manufacturing industry is facing severe challenges due to  unprecedented price escalations in crude oil prices which has directly impacted the cost of petroleum-based solvents and  chemical intermediates.

The Department of Commerce is evaluating the impact of recent geopolitical disruptions and to seek government intervention, we require granular data from your organization. We request you to kindly fill the requested  information in the google form.

Please submit your responses to enable us to consolidate this data for an urgent representation to the Ministry.
