Pharmexcil is in receipt of a communication from Embassy of India, Doha about the "Qatar Medicare 2024 – The International Healthcare & Medical Exhibition & Conference". This will be the first edition, scheduled to take place from December 3-5, 2024 at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre, in collaboration with Qatar Chamber, with the support of the Ministry of Public Health, Qatar.

It is understood that Qatar is planning to open up its health sector to private sector considerably in the coming years by making health insurance mandatory. This should also provide opportunities for our pharma and medical equipment companies to enter the market and get the first mover advantage.
