Subject: Mexico-India Economic Opportunities Forum

We are pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Economy of Mexico, Embassy of India in Mexico and the India-Mexico Business Chamber (IMBC) is organizing Mexico – India Business Opportunities Forum during 16^th - 18^th November, 2021. The scheduled forum aims to strengthen the existing bilateral trade relationship between India and Mexico and create opportunities of mutual collaboration among the stakeholders of the nations.

Mexico – India Business Opportunities Forum is scheduled to be inaugurated by the government officials on 16^th November, 2021in physical format followed by a trade forum witnessing virtual round table discussions  on major sectors of interest i.e  Pharmaceutical, IT & Food sector etc. along with investment opportunities for  bilateral commercial relations during the 3 day event.

Mexico stands to be the second largest pharmaceutical market in Latin America after Brazil and has a superior regulatory standard as compared to most of its southern neighbours. Indian pharmaceutical exports to Mexico reported a growth rate of 32.81 % amounting to USD 212.44 MN during FY -21 and is expected to gain a greater market share in the near future.

The Round table discussion on the Pharmaceutical sector is planned on 17^th November 2021at 7.30PM-8.30PM (IST) wherein representatives from COFEPRIS, PHARMEXCIL and INDIA - MEXICO BUSINESS CHAMBER will highlight key areas of development and collaboration opportunities among the nations. A tentative program schedule for the 3 day event is enclosed herewithfor your ready reference.
