We are glad to inform that Pharmexcil in association with the Embassy of India, Djibouti and Djibouti Chamber of Commerce is organising a Webinar on “India-Djibouti Pharmaceutical Cooperation followed by Business Meet on 2nd August 2021 virtually.
Djibouti is an East African country strategically located just beside the maritime chokepoint of Bab-el-Mandab in Red Sea. Djibouti is a key node in the Gulf of Aden-Suez Canal trade route and is a significant gateway to the Horn of Africa and the wider region of East Africa.
India’s export of Pharmaceuticals is to the tune of USD 13 mn during the year 2020-21 with a growth rate of 125% over 2019-20. Africa is one of the important destinations for pharmaceutical exports from India and Djibouti as the gateway for international trade, the cooperation between India and Djibouti would promote market access for the African countries.
The webinar covers the business opportunities and registration procedures of Djibouti. His Excellency Ambassador of India to Djibouti, President, Djibouti Chamber of Commerce, Director, Department of Commerce would be gracing the Business Meet. Pharma distributors from Djibouti were also expected to participate in the programme.
