We are glad to inform that Council is organising a Workshop on "GST and Tax related issues" on 28th June.2021 in association with Bizstreet and Knowledge Partner as Khaitan & Co.

The Workshop is proposed to cover the following topics,                  

• GST impact on R&D collaborations
• GST treatment of transfer and exchange of R&D know-how
• Discounts and promotional schemes
• Return of expired medicines
• Blockage of credit on account of process loss
• Blockage of credit for vis-à-vis free samples given to medical practitioners, stockists, dealers etc.
• Tax treatment of free supplies as against free samples
• Exemptions to preventive form of health check-ups
• Working capital blockage due to inverted duty structure
• Multi-rate structure leads to classification issues
• Increase in GST on loan licensee charges and commission paid to stockists and C&F agents
• GST on ocean freight
• Job work / Loan Licensee
• Country of origin issues for imports
