Dear Sir/Madam,

 

Subject: Trade Enquiry - Procurement of Covid-19 related pharmaceutical products by Vice-Ministry of Foreign Trade and Integration of Bolivia

 

Members are kindly aware that the Government of India in close coordination with its missions abroad has been facilitating supply of life saving medicines globally during the COVID -19 pandemic.

 

Pharmexcil is in receipt of communication from Embassy of India in Lima, Peru concurrently accredited to Bolivia wherein Bolivia is experiencing the second wave of COVID -19 infection throughout the country. The government of Bolivia is taking immediate measures to contain the outbreak and intends to procure required and essential lifesaving products from India.

 

The Vice-Ministry of Foreign Trade and Integration of Bolivia has projected their immediate requirement for medicines, medical equipment and protective gears under six categories as below:

 

  • Medicines (70 categories), including Morphine, Amoxicillin, Ceftriaxone, Ceftazidime, Amikacin, Omeprazole, Metamizole, Paracetamol, Glucose, among others (in the form of injectables, solution, pills);
  • Medicines for first-aid kit (10 categories), including Ibuprofen, omeprazole capsule, Ivermectin, multivitamins, Vitamin C, Azithromycin, among others.
  • Two antiviral agents – Favipiravir (200 mg) and Remdesivir (100 mg);
  • Personal protective equipment for primary healthcare facilities, including N95 masks, surgical mask, disposable gown, latex gloves, among others.
  • Antigen nasal equipment for Covid-19; and
  • Oxygen refill system.

 

Interested member companies are requested to follow the link for detailed product list and submit available quantities in each category along with the unit price latest by 28th January 2021. The council will further submit the consolidated details with our mission for further correspondence with the Vice-Ministry of Foreign Trade and Integration of Bolivia.
