Subject: Procurement of Oncological drugs by Jalisco, Mexico
We are glad to inform you that the state of Jalisco, Mexico has proposed to the Indian Embassy in Mexico that they are interested to buy medicines directly from Indian companies, starting with oncological medicines which they would like to procure as soon as possible considering the shortage in the state.
The list of Products required by the Jalisco Government are enclosed (in case of confusion between the English and Spanish version, please consider the Spanish version as correct) and we understand that they will consider the following Regulatory approvals for the listed products.

Sanitary registration/approval of COFEPRIS (Mexico) (or) any of the following
-
Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products-Swissmed.

European Commission,
-
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States of America,
-
Ministry of Health of Canada,
-
Therapeutic Products Administration of Australia,
-
Regulatory Agency of reference of WHO/PAHO,
-
prequalified by the pre-qualification program for medicines and vaccines of the World Health Organization or
-
regulatory agencies members of the Pharmaceutical Inspection Cooperation Scheme (PICS)
Considering that this may be a big opportunity for the Indian companies, we would like to request the member companies which can provide the said medicines in the list and have the sanitary registration/approval of COFEPRIS (Mexico) or any other approvals as mentioned above

Please note that, at this stage, they are only seeking information regarding which Indian companies can possibly supply to the Jalisco Government and hence prices are not to be mentioned.
