Sub: Postponement of CPhI China 2020 to 16^th -18^th December 2020.

Dear Member,

As you are aware CPhI & P-MEC China 2020, China's largest pharma exhibition is originally scheduled during 22-24 June 2020. However, the global outbreak of COVID-19 has posed great challenges to the entire world and all countries are passing through difficult phases resulting in unprecedented disruptions in human life and all-round contractions in almost all economies. This pandemic continues to affect travel and business worldwide.

Therefore, Informa Markets, the organizer of CPhI & P-MEC China has decided to postpone the event, with the new dates confirmed for 16-18 December 2020 at the SNIEC in Shanghai, China. It seems the organisers have secured the new date at the request of exhibitors to ensure the event's strong international profile, which will provide greater access to international audiences, as at present, strict travel restrictions remain in place for all intentional visitors to China in response to COVID-19.

Members willing to participate in India Pavilion at CPhI China during revised schedule i.e 16-18 Dec 2020 may express their interest to enable us to better understand the response of the industry on the revised dates.
