Pharma Business Meets at
China & Mongolia
4-10 th August 2019
|
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are glad to inform that Council is organizing Pharma Business Meets at China and Mongolia during 4-10th August 2019 with active support of local Missions in these countries.
China:
Members may be aware that Government is keen to improve bilateral trade between
China and India in Pharma sector in view of recent economic changes taking place. Pharmexcil had organized India-China Pharma Conference & BSM in July 2018, which was attended by over 120 local pharma companies. The Indian participants had the opportunity of meeting the officials of NMPA apart from having good business discussions with the local pharma companies.
As a furtherance of our efforts, Council is organizing 2nd edition of such Business Meet this year also. There is good scope for exporters of APIs, Intermediates, Finished formulations, nutraceuticals, medical devices/surgicals etc.
Mongolia:
This is the first time Council is organizing a Business delegation to Mongolia. It is understood that Mongolia imports about US$ 130 mn worth of pharmaceuticals, mainly from Russia, EU, South Korea, China and India. Our exports to Mongolia are to the tune of US$ 9.5 mn in 2018-19, which shows that there is good scope to enhance India’s exports to this country. Members dealing in finished formulations, medical devices / surgicals, veterinary drugs, nutraceuticals, AYUSH products will have good opportunities in Mongolia.
