Subject: Urgent – Submission of Inputs on NTMs & Certification Requirements

Dear Members,

This is to inform you that the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is undertaking a comprehensive mapping of mandatory and voluntary Non-Tariff Measures (NTMs) as part of the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) announced in the Union Budget 2025–26.

The exercise aims to identify certifications, testing requirements, inspections, audits, labelling norms, and other regulatory compliance conditions applicable to Indian exports across global markets.

In this regard, DGFT has requested inputs from exporters of Export Promotion Councils and members are requested to kindly submit relevant NTMs and certification requirements pertaining to your export products through the online form at the earliest:

Deadline for submission: by 4th December 2025

Please note that non-submission may result in certain certifications or NTMs not being prioritised in the development of the national database, which could affect future support measures under the Export Promotion Mission or other Government interventions.

You are therefore requested to treat this matter as urgent and submit the required information within the stipulated timeline.
