Sub: Trade Enquiry from Costa Rica 

Dear Sir/Madam,

Pharmexcil is in receipt of communication from the Embassy of Costa Rica in India regarding medicament requirements in the Republic of Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a Central American country with over 13 MedTech companies in the world's top 30 and is known for its high-quality medical device export ranking. However, the country has local needs for a variety of additional pharmaceutical products/services that must be obtained globally. Costa Rica acknowledges India as the world's largest supplier of generic pharmaceuticals and has competence in producing items ranging from high-quality OTC medications to research and manufacture.

The government of Costa Rica would want to take advantage of the Indian pharmaceutical sector and would further like to assist potential Indian pharmaceutical businesses in exporting necessary medications or investing in pharma manufacturing units in Costa Rica.

In this regard, His Excellency Claudio Ansorena Montero, Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica, has designated Mr Jeetendra Hemdev as the point of contact for organising meetings with H.E. and various pharmaceutical businesses in Hyderabad. The goal is to discover Indian pharmaceutical businesses with US FDA and EU GMP (since these are the standard  requirements imposed by Costa Rican responsible authorities) in order to work and engage with Costa Rican counterparts.

Please find attached a list of pharmaceutical goods required in Costa Rica and other Latin American countries. Interested companies in supplying these products may like to communicate with Mr. Jeetendra Hemdev for further discussion and to schedule a meeting with the embassy.
