Seeking inputs for India-LAC collaboration in pharma and healthcare sector

Subject : Seeking inputs for India-LAC collaboration in pharma and healthcare sector

You are kindly aware that Pharmexcil with support of the Government of India and coordination with Indian missions in the Latin American countries has been undertaking numerous measures to facilitate/promote Indian pharmaceutical trade in the region.

In line with this objective, Ministry of External Affairs is organizing a virtual meeting with relevant stakeholders (Industry, Indian embassies & Dept of Commerce & Dept of Pharma etc) to discuss the current nature of bilateral trade with LAC (Latin America and the Caribbean) on 9th Nov at 6.00 pm (IST) under the chairmanship of  Sri. G.V. Srinivas, Addl Secretary, LAC, MEA.  The proposed meeting  aims to identify key bottlenecks while exporting to the region and to strategize the way forward and strengthen collaboration in the field of pharmaceutical sector in the region. 

Member companies with active operations in the Latin American region are kindly requested to join the scheduled meeting and share their valuable inputs on current status of exports to LAC,  market access issues being faced to exports to the countries in LAC, supporting  measures required for a greater market access in the region & any additional support needed from the Government.

Inputs may be emailed to jslac@mea.gov.in with a copy to rodelhi@pharmexcil.com, latest by 8th November, 2022,  including in the subject header the keyword TTT1pharma, and, in the main body your own full details (for our reference) and also of the person who informed you about this DVC (to fine-tune LAC DVC dissemination channels).
