Dear Sir/Madam,

Subject: REVISED DATES - IPHEX-LATAM (Pharmexcil Business Delegation to Guatemala, El Salvador, Colombia & Chile) during 17^th – 28^th February 2024 (MAI assistance available).

Please refer to earlier circular no. PXL/HO/Cir-070/2023-24 dated 23^rd October 2023 regarding IPHEX-LATAM (Pharmexcil Business Delegation to Colombia, Guatemala & Chile) scheduled during 3rd – 14th February 2024.

After much deliberations, it has been advised by our Indian missions abroad that the scheduled dates for our delegation is a slack period in the country. Further, we also had many requests from our members to postpone the delegation due to the clash of dates with Arab Health 2024. 

Since, Council want to ensure the success of the event by holding it during a more opportune time we would like to inform you that we have postponed the delegation to 17^th February to 28^th February 2024 (revised dates). Also please note that as per the recommendation by the Embassy of India in Guatemala we are also exploring the possibility of visiting El Salvador and having Buyer Seller meet there as well.

The revised program schedule proposed for the delegation is given as below:

As part of the Business Delegation, Buyer Seller Meets will be organized at each country along with meetings with the Regulatory officials and prominent trade associations. We are proposing to invite Business delegates from neighboring countries as well for B2B meetings with Indian delegation.  The details of the BSM schedule and other meetings will be shared soon.

PARTICIPATION DETAILS

Participation Fee (Non-Refundable): Rs. 1,50,000/- per company

Participation fee includes BSM set up at all Destinations, local transfers wherever required for Government meetings, Regulatory meetings etc. The amount is refunded only if the event is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances at the instance of our Mission/Council.

Post submission of the Registration form, you are required to pay the participation fee of INR 1,50,000/- in favour of “Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India” and share the payment details with accounts2@pharmexcil.com. (Bank details given below)

Timeline:Deadline for Registration & Final payment is 9^th Dec 2023. Members may please note that confirmation of your participation is based on receipt of the payment only.

Travel & Logistics:The suggested Flight itinerary, Hotel names and tariffs (in consultation with Indian Missions abroad) will be communicated in due course. Member companies are required to secure their business visas and make their reservations directly. The council will arrange required visa invitations from destination countries and issue visa recommendation letters for the participating Indian delegates.

MAI ASSISTANCE:

• Members whose export turnover during previous year are less than Rs.50.00 crores and are having minimum of one year (12 calendar months) membership with the council are eligible for MAI assistance subject to the other guidelines of MAI scheme.
• The amount of airfare reimbursable will be 50% of the economy fare, subject to market-wise ceilings
• Under the scheme Director/Partner/Proprietor/Senior Managers can avail reimbursement of economy class airfare subject to a maximum of INR 1,50,000/- per company.

Note:

• Participation to all three destinations is mandatory to claim MAI assistance.
• Destination can undergo changes / modifications / cancellation subject to our Embassy/Missions advice in view of unavoidable circumstances.
