Greetings from Pharmexcil!

Pharmexcil is in receipt of communication issued by the Embassy of India in Mexico, wherein the government of Mexico is planning to procure essential medicines for the year 2023–24.It is understood that the Indian Ambassador to Mexicoextended the offer for the procurement of generics from India to Mexico in a meeting with INSABI under the PMJAY scheme.

It is to be noted that INSABI (National Institute of Welfare) is the government agency of Mexico that provides medical services to those people who are not covered by the Mexican Social Security Institute or the Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers.

INSABI has now provided a list of their projected medical requirements and is seeking the details of interested manufacturers, information on the pricing of the medications included on the list, GMP certifications of the companies that make these medications, as well as any other pertinent information.

The information must be provided as soon as possible to allow Mexico to complete the procurement process, ideally before the arrival of the country's honourable foreign minister, Mr. Marcelo Ebrard, in India on March 1-3, 2023, for the G20 summit.

Given the urgency and time bound nature of this activity, interested member companies are kindly requested to fill out the details requested (marked in yellow) in the attached Excel sheet and upload the same through the Google response sheet after filing in the necessary information (https://forms.gle/7oxQYAkAc3ptanHS6) by  21st February 2023.
