Dear Member,

 

The Supply Chain Division of the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, is undertaking an important exercise to assess industrial supply chains and manufacturing capabilities in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices sector.

 

For this purpose, a questionnaire titled “Industrial Supply Chain Resilience and Manufacturing Capability Assessment” has been prepared to collect sector-specific inputs from industry experts and stakeholders. The questionnaireseeks information on, among others:

 

Production capacity and utilization

Supply chain dependencies and disruptions

Import vulnerabilities and logistics risks

Technological capabilities, automation, and R&D partnerships

Key constraints affecting manufacturing competitiveness

Workforce availability, skills, and productivity challenges

Costs, pricing pressures, and global price fluctuations

Regulatory environment and policy impacts

Market conditions, competition, and domestic ecosystem gaps

Business outlook, expansion plans, and support required from Government

 

Members are requested to kindly review the enclosed questionnaire and provide inputs based on your expertise.
