MSME Survey on delayed and disputed payments

 Dear Sir/Madam,


Subject: MSME Survey on delayed and disputed payments.


We would like to inform our member-exporters that Council has received a communication from the Office of Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Zonal Office of Mumbai, to collect inputs from MSME sectors regarding delayed and disputed payment.


Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is conducting a survey to assess the delayed and disputed payment, specifically for MSMEs and will present it to government. Delayed and disputed payments have a significant impact on the operations and profitability of MSMEs. Sometimes they even affect viability of MSME operations.


In view of above, we kindly request our member-exporters from MSME sector to fill the enclosed questionnaire and send to Pharmexcil at romumbai@pharmexcil.com and also mark a copy to Mr. Anil Aggarwal, Additional DGFT, New Delhi at aaggarwal@nic.in and Mr Bharath Kumar from CII at  bharath.kumar@cii.in


We therefore advise our member-exporters from MSME sector to provide the necessary information urgently by Monday, 11th November 2019.
