Subject: IPHEX-LATAM (Pharmexcil Business Delegation to Colombia, Guatemala & Chile)) during 3^rd – 14^th February 2024 (MAI assistance available).

We are pleased to inform you that Pharmexcil with the support of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India is organizing IPHEX-LATAM (Business Delegation to Colombia, Guatemala & Chile) during the month of February 2024.

Considering the nature of LAC region falling into the Focus area for pharmaceutical exports from India and the potential for Generics and APIs, especially with the emerging business opportunities in LAC region and other markets, Pharmexcil proposes to organize a Business Delegation (physical) to Bogota (Columbia), Guatemala (Guatemala City) and Chile (Santiago) during 3^rd February 2024 until 14^th February 2024.

The tentative program schedule proposed for the delegation as below:

As part of the Business Delegation, Buyer Seller Meets will be organized at each country along with meetings with the Regulatory officials and prominent trade associations. We are proposing to invite Business delegates from neighboring countries as well for B2B meetings with Indian delegation.  The details of the BSM schedule and other meetings will be shared soon.

PARTICIPATION DETAILS 

Participation Fee(Non-Refundable): Rs. 1,50,000/- per company

Participation fee includes BSM set up at all Destinations, local transfers wherever required for Government meetings, Regulatory meetings etc. The amount is refunded only if the event is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances at the instance of our Mission/Council.

Post submission of the Registration form, you are required to pay the participation fee of INR 1,50,000/-in favour of “Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India” and share the payment details with accounts2@pharmexcil.com. (Bank details given below)

Timeline:Deadline for Registration & Final payment is10^th Nov 2023.Members may please note that confirmation of your participation is based on receipt of the payment only.

Travel & Logistics:The suggested Flight itinerary, Hotel names and tariffs (in consultation with Indian Missions abroad) will be communicated in due course. Member companies are required to secure their business visas and make their reservations directly. The council will arrange required visa invitations from destination countries and issue visa recommendation letters for the participating Indian delegates.

MAI ASSISTANCE:

• Members whose export turnover during previous year are less than Rs.50.00 Crores and are having minimum of one year (12 calendar months) membership with the council are eligible for MAI assistance subject to the other guidelines of MAI scheme.
• The amount of airfare reimbursable will be 50% of the economy fare, subject to market-wise ceilings
•  Under the scheme Director/Partner/Proprietor/Senior Managers can avail reimbursement of economy class airfare subject to a maximum of INR 1,50,000/- per company.

  Note:

• Participation to all three destinations is mandatory to claim MAI assistance.
• Destination can undergo changes / modifications / cancellation subject to our Embassy/Missions advice in view of unavoidable circumstances.
