We are pleased to inform you that the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (PHARMEXCIL), set up under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, is organising an Industry Interaction on the Pharmaceutical Sector, as part of the Chintan Shivir on Pharmaceutical Industry, on December 17, 2025, in Chandigarh.

This programme is being organised with the support of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and will bring together senior government officials, regulatory authorities, industry leaders, policy experts, and CEOs from leading pharmaceutical companies. The discussions will focus on important areas such as:

• Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and India’s response framework
• Skill development initiatives of LSSSDC
• Emerging developments in Foreign Trade Policy (DGFT Session)
• Updates on the evolving GST regime
• Implementation of revised GMP guidelines
• Industry Interaction with Key Stakeholders

The event aims to facilitate direct interaction between the industry and policymakers, address regulatory and policy challenges, and explore opportunities to further strengthen India’s pharmaceutical exports.

There is no participation fee, but prior registration is mandatory due to limited seating.
