We are glad to inform the members that Consulate of Belgium, Chennai is hosting an Investment seminar and Networking event “You Pharma and Life Sciences Hub in Europe- BELGIUM” to high-profile personalities of the Indian business diaspora (pharma & biotech) on November 30th, at the Park Hyatt Hotel, Hyderabad.The Consulate of Belgium is partnering with Pharmexcil, BDMA, FABA & CII along with trade representatives such as invest-export.brussels, hub.brussels, Flanders Investment & Trade, Wallonia.be.

The seminar will provide potential investors with a comprehensive overview of the many opportunities Belgium offers as Global Pharma and Life Sciences Hub. The Seminar will also showcase the advantages of using Belgium as a Global logistic hub and Global R&D hub.  The event is especially targeting Indian exporters to the EU who want to streamline their operations in Europe either by setting up a R&D Centre, distribution centre in Belgium or by partnering with local players. The aim is to explore the advantages of Belgium, and its regions, as a gateway for Indian companies to do business with Europe.

The Chief Guest for the seminar is Minister of StateMr.Karel De Gucht, Former EU Commissioner for Trade, Former Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and he will deliver talk on “Overseas trading and doing business with Europe after Brexit”.
