To deliberate on the logistics challenges in India- Russia bilateral trade, The President of the Russian Federation has deputed his Aide to visit India. In this regard, FIEO is organising an Interactive Meeting (Physical & Virtual) with The Aide of President of Russian Federation H E Mr Igor Levitin as per the schedule below:

2. You are aware that most of the major shipping lines are currently not accepting major cargo meant for Russia. Therefore, the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) (India-Iran-Russia route) becomes more critical to India-Russia trade in current times. India also operates a container terminal at Iran's Chabahar port, and significant efforts are being made to promote India-Russia trade through INSTC, which aims to reduce logistics costs as well as time. However, the current trade through this route is much below its potential.
3. Senior Diplomats from the Embassy of Russia; senior officials from the Ministries of Commerce & Industry, Shipping & Railways shall be present. Besides the user segment, i.e. exporters/importers; logistics service providers represented by FFFAI, AMTOI and CONCOR shall also be present.
