We are glad to inform that Pharmexcil with support of the Department of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and close coordination with Indian missions abroad, organizing a Virtual Pharma Business Meet with North East Asia region with the title “India-North East Asia Pharma Conference & Business Meet” during 17-21 December 2021 with Japan, China and South Korea virtually.
With the prevailing COVID-19 situation and inability to participate in trade shows/organize trade delegations to these countries, Pharmexcil is organizing virtual B2B meetings in the NEA region.
Members are kindly aware, the countries of North-East Asia offer good potential for India's pharmaceutical products and our exports during the fy 2020-21 is USD 836 mn contributing about 3.42 % of the total pharma exports from India with a growth rate of 22.21 % over 2019-20.
India’s exports to the NEA countries during the FY 2020-21 are USD 382.73 mn (China), USD 236.10 mn (Japan), USD 124 mn (Korea RP), USD 45.64 mn (Taiwan) , USD 36.91 mn (Hong Kong) , USD 8.22 mn (Mongolia) , USD 1.47 mn (Korea DP RP) , USD 0.22 (Macao) respectively.
The NEA generic market is valued at USD 100 bn (China, Japan, and South Korea) presenting exponential growth opportunities for pharmaceutical companies from India as strengths in finished dosage formulations and Contract manufacturing can contribute largely to the economic viability and Government policies towards providing affordable generic drugs in NEA region.
The “India-North East Asia Pharma Business Meet” comprise Conference on Regulatory & Pharma Business Opportunities (for one hour) followed by the virtual B2B meetings in each country as per the following schedule,
17.Dec.2021: Japan
20.Dec.2021: China
21.Dec.2021: South Korea
The council in close coordination with our missions abroad, local associations and chambers are working together towards the objective to ensure quality buyers during the forthcoming event. The Business Meet will have a webinar (for an hour) for each country followed by the Buyer-Seller Meets with each country for the rest of the day, which will be attended by the importers, traders, and distributors of Pharmaceuticals and allied products.
