Members are kindly aware that the council has been undertaking several initiatives towards boosting Indian pharmaceuticals exports and strengthening bilateral trade relations across the globe. In the line of activities planned towards the objective, we are glad to inform that Pharmexcil in association with the Embassy of India, Vientiane, Lao PDR is organizing a webinar followed by B2B meetings on 30th September 2020.
Though the Laos’s medicine market stands smallest in South East Asia, the market yet offers vast opportunities in the field of herbals/traditional medicines & surgicals medical devices With the commitment of its government in prioritizing the healthcare sector and rising demand for generic medicines, the market offers huge potential for Indian exporters. The government further offers incentives for investments in the field of agriculture and pharma sectors for promoting herbals/traditional medicines.
We believe this initiative will explore the available opportunities; create awareness on the regulatory framework and registration requirements for greater market access. The webinar will also emphasize on strengths of Indian pharma industry and investment schemes being offered by the Laos government.

Member companies are requested to confirm their participation latest by 21st September 2020. There is no participation fee to participate in the webinar / as an Exhibitor for B2B meetings. However, it is observed that some of the companies are registering but not actively participating in the B2B meetings. Hence, if any company registered as exhibitor fails to actively participate in B2B meetings would be disqualified by Pharmexcil for future events.
