Subject: Important – Inputs sought by Department of Commerce on forthcoming negotiations for Trade Agreement between India and Eurasian Economic Union [EaEU]
We would like to inform our member companies that the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India is in process to finalize a trade agreement with Eurasian Economic Union (EaEU). The union comprises countries namely Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
The agreement aims to provide a harmonized and single policy to boost bilateral trade with member countries determined by the treaty and international agreements within the Union. In a way forward with negotiations in the pharmaceutical sector, the department seeks inputs from the industry in the form of attached questionnaire comprising significant topics such as:

The requisite inputs would be discussed during the first round of the negotiations for Trade Agreement between India and Eurasian Economic Union, to be held shortly. In the event of non-receipt of the same, it would not be possible to deliberation upon the sensitivities pertaining to the products being handled by your organization. Therefore, we request you to submit this duly filled Questionnaire to headcrtoffice@crt.org.in , ranjan.sunil@nic.in , vshanker.pandey@gov.in latest by 14th January, 2021 positively and support the initiative for greater market access and bilateral trade between the nations.
