Elections to the Committee of Administration-Enroll as Eligible Voter

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Subject: Enrolment as Voter OPEN NOW: For the ensuing Elections

We wish to bring to the notice of members that Elections for the year 2024-26 (25-26) are due for electing the Committee of Administration.

The current Model bye laws has defined Right to Vote as under:

Article 4. ELIGIBILITY FOR ELECTIONS 4.1 : Right to Vote

(a)Ordinary members shall have the right to vote. The person or the entity represented by the person must have to its credit during the two immediately preceding financial year’s average exports in respect of the product of not less than the amount mentioned below:

(i) Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs): Rs. 25 Lakh - Rs. 1 Crore (Micro Enterprises- Rs. 25 Lakhs, Small Enterprises -Rs. 50 lakh and Medium Enterprises- Rs. 1 crore)

(ii) Others: Above Rs.1 Crore

(b)Associate members having completed 3 continuous years, and not fulfilling the eligibility criteria for Ordinary Member, however, having average exports of Rs. 2.5 Lakhs to their credit during the preceding three financial years, shall also have the right to vote.

(c) Member companies should have paid the renewal fee for the financial year 2024-25.

Member companies eligible are hereby requested to submit Self Certified Export Turnover (Annexure-I) on Company Letter head along with MSME Udyog Aaadar Certificate (only for MSMEs) online on or before 10 Dec 2025 as “Voter” and exercise your vote.

This will enable Council to verify the data and update the list.
