Subject: DGFT's amendment in Export Policy of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
 

We are glad to inform you that DGFT vide Notification No:16/2015-20, dt:29th June 2020 has allowed export of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) subject to qualitative restriction of 50 Lakh units per month.  The export policy of PPE medical coveralls for COVID-19 is amended from "Prohibited" to "Restricted (For monthly export quota of 50 Lakh PPE Medical Coveralls for Covid-19)" category for the items referred in ITC HAS codes 392690, 621790, 630790 & 901890.

DGFT notification No:16/2015-20 is attached for the reference of members.
