Pharmexcil is in receipt of communication from Embassy of India in Suva, Fiji wherein a Fijian importer is
In process of exploring opportunities of business collaborations with Indian companies.
The Fijian company plans to set up a manufacturing plant for “Medical Drips and Dialysis Solution” locally and intends to procure the required equipment from India. In addition, the company requires assistance in manpower and training of the professionals in Fiji.
Fiji is comparatively a small market in the Oceania region; however the market has reported a growth of 56% with exports worth USD 4.76 MN during FY 2020 -21.
The reliability of Indian pharmaceutical products is remarkably noted by the global pharma industry and the ability to cater the worldwide market (big/small) further aids to nurture towards the landmark objective of USD 29.2 BN pharmaceuticals exports target set by Department of commerce and Industry, Government of India.
Interested member companies, looking forward to establishing/expanding their business operations in Fiji are requested to share their intent for collaborations (enclosed format) to rodelhi@pharmexcil.com latest by 20th September, 2021.
