Dear Sir/Madam,


We are glad to inform that Council is organizing Business Meetings in at DCR Congo, Nigeria and Côte d'Ivoire during 18-28th February 2018.  As members are aware, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zambia are important exporting destination for Indian pharma exporters in Africa Region.   

 

I. Highlights of the Event:

· Good market opportunity is available for Indian pharma exporters to enhance their exports in West African countries.  Please see the following data:

·   Indian Embassies in DCR Congo and Côte d'Ivoire invited Pharmexcil to organize BSM in those countries considering huge potential available.

·   Embassies assured to invite some of the prominent importers / distributors from neighbouring countries for the BSMs

·   Local pharma importers / distributors will be invited with the help of our Indian Embassies and local pharma associations.

·   Apart from B2B meetings, presentations on local pharma markets / Drug Regulations will be arranged

III. Participation fee

Rs.75,000/- per delegate, which includes cost of participation in BSMs, Interpreters, wherever required  and Accommodation on twin sharing basis in all the 3 countries, in the hotels recommended by embassies.  

 

Does not include:

·   Air ticket

·   Visa charges

·   Lunch/dinners

·   Local transfers

·   Any other incidental charges.   

 

Council will help the participants in booking tickets, visas and local hospitality through a travel agent.   Participants are at liberty to make their own arrangements also.

 

IV. Assistance under MAI:

Members whose export turnover during the previous financial year is less than Rs.30 crores will be eligible for assistance under MAI scheme up to a maximum of Rs. 70,000/- towards air fare, subject to other conditions of MAI and approval by Ministry.  Due to limited funds available, assistance will be available only to the first 30 members.

 

V. Approximate costs of Travel:

Approximate cost of air ticket and visas charges as follows:

Air ticket (economy class) : Rs. 1.20 lakhs

Visa charges                       : Rs. 35-40,000

The above is suggested schedule and members are at liberty to choose their one travel plan.  However, members have to ensure that they are available for the meetings as per schedule fixed.

 

VIII. Delegate Form:

Interested members may fill up the attached delegate form and return to rd.rr@pharmexcil.comor info@pharmexcil.com  on or before 31st December 2017.  It may be noted that as per the directions of Government, Council is required to scrutinize the profiles of the interested companies and select genuinely interested exporters.  Therefore, it is likely that some of the profiles may not be selected by the Council.

 

IX. Free Medical Camp:

Indian Embassy in DCR Congo advised Council to organize a Free Medical / immunization Camp in Kinshasa.    Council is working out on modalities of organizing the above Camp.  Meanwhile, members may indicate their interest to join this noble cause.

 

Members are advised to take advantage of exploring the export opportunities in Western African countries by participating in the event.
