 Dear Sir/Madam,

Subject:  BSM / Pharma Business Delegation to Vietnam (24^th to 25^th February 2020), Philippines (26-28 February 2020) and Myanmar from 2nd to 3^rd March 2020.(Avail MAI Assistance of Rs.70,000 towards airfare)

This is in continuation of our circular dt: 1^st Jan.2020,the details of the participation along with costing and reimbursement details are provided with this Circular. We are glad to inform member companies that Pharmexcil is organising BSM / Pharma Business Delegation to Vietnam (24-25^th Feb.2020), Philippines (27-28^th Feb.2020) and Myanmar during 2-3^rd March 2020. The Delegation visit and its dates have been confirmed by India Mission at Vietnam, Philippines and Myanmar.

The itinerary of the delegation is as follows: Thelast date for registration is 27^th Jan.2020

Participation Details and Costing:

Members may kindly note the following important points:

I)        It is mandatory to participate in at least two countries.

II)      Pay Rs.1 Lakh and avail MAI assistance of Rs.70,000 towards ticket fare

Rs.1 Lakh include the following (all three countries)

a.      9 Square metres furnished stand at Philippines

b.      Participation in Buyer-Seller Meet at Vietnam

c.       Participation in Buyer-Seller Meet at Myanmar

d.      Meetings with Trade Association and FDA

e.       Airport transfers from Airport to Hotel to Airport (In Group only for the Itinerary and Hotel suggested by Pharmexcil)

f.      Assistance on Hotel reservation, ticketing and Visa Invitations

      
Expo & BSM at Philippines: We are expecting around 150+ companies including manufacturers, importers and distributors to participate in the Exhibition from Philippines side. It is, therefore, requested that the member companies to actively take a stall and participate in the Expo and BSM, as the exhibition will create more business opportunities to display your products and strengths of your company and for a better outreach in Philippines.

III)    Avail MAI assistance of Rs.70,000(any two countries) towards ticket fare- Rs.70,000. Pay Rs.75,000 which include the following(any two countries)

a.      Participation in Buyer-Seller Meet at Vietnam and Myanmar or Expo cum Buyer Seller Meet at Philippines and Vietnam or Expo cum Buyer Seller Meet at Philippines and Myanmar

b.      Meetings with Trade Association and FDA

c.       Airport transfers from Airport to Hotel to Airport (In Group only for the Itinerary and Hotel suggested by Pharmexcil)

d.      Assistance on Hotel reservation, ticketing and Visa Invitations

IV)   Approximate cost of the flight ticket would be around Rs.65,000/-  by Thai Airlines combination with MH Airlines and Rs.72,000 by Silk and Thai Airways. The connections from Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and New Delhi are provided as an attachment for ready reference (fare prices as on 17.Jan.2020) .

V)     Hotel name and tariffs (In consultation with Indian Missions abroad) will be informed shortly and payment to be made by participating members directly.

VII) E-Visa facility is available for Vietnam and Myanmar.

VIII) For the Philippines, Delegates holding US visa can avail on arrival visa facility, otherwise the delegates have to apply for Visa stamping in India.

IX)   Please note that additional delegate from the same company has to pay Rs.35,000 as the delegation fee.

X)     The Fees paid towards attending the Expo and Delegation of Rs.1,00,000/Rs.75,000 will not be refunded. It shall be refunded only in case the Council cancels the delegation visit due to unavoidable circumstances.

Last date for Registration:

Interested members are requested to register their participation online before 27^th Jan.2020 and send payments through DD in favour of Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India, payable at Hyderabad) by 28^th Jan.2020.

MAI SUPPORT:

Members whose export turnover during the previous financial year is less than/upto Rs.30 crores and who have completed one year of membership will be eligible for assistance under new MAI scheme up to a maximum of Rs. 70,000/- towards air fare, subject to other conditions of new MAI scheme and approval by Ministry. The reimbursement of airfare is permissible only to the regular Director/Partner/Proprietor of the Company (any one).
