Dear Sir / Madam,

We are glad to inform that Council is organizing 3^rdedition of IPHEXAfrica at Nigeria, preceded by Business Meetings at Uganda and Sudan 6-16^th March 2019, with the help of our local Missions in these countries.

India’s exports to these three countries have registered a positive growth during the last 3 years and have good potential to further enhance our exports.  Despite some political/economic disturbances in Sudan, our High Commission strongly recommends a Business delegation to Sudan as weneed to continuously reinforce our efforts for not only maintaining but also gaining market share. Market reports of these countries are enclosed (Nigeria, Uganda, Sudan) for reference of members.

I.Highlights of the Event:

·      Iphex Africa - Exhibition of Indian pharma exporters for two days i.e. on 14-15^th March 2019 at Lagos, Nigeria.

·       BSM at Kampala (7.3.2019) and Khartoum (11.03.2019)

·      Local pharma importers / distributors will be invited with the help of our High Commission, local pharma associations etc.

·      All pharma associations in Nigeria will be invited as Partners of IPHEX Africa  to ensure good participation by local companies.

·      In Uganda and Sudan, apart from taking help from our High Commissions and pharma associations, professional marketing agencies will be appointed, wherever possible

The above cost includes:

·   One 6 sq. meter furnished stall in Nigeria and individual table space at Uganda and Sudan

·   Accommodation for one person at all the three places on twin sharing basis.  In case single occupancy is required, Rs. 25,000/- per country will be charged extra. In cases where there are more than one person from one company, Rs. 30,000/- per person per country will be charged extra who will be provided accommodation on twin sharing basis

·   Interpreters (wherever required)

·    Lunches during BSMs and IPHEX dates

Does not include:

·   Air ticket

·   Local transfers

·   Visa charges

·   Lunches / dinners on other days excluding BSM/IPHEX days

·   Any other incidental charges.   

Council will assist the participants in booking tickets   and also in providing visa invitations from embassies / organizers.  

IV. Assistance under MAI:

Members who participate in at least two (2) countries will be eligible for assistance under MAI scheme to a maximum of Rs. 70,000/- towards air fare, subject to other conditions of MAI scheme and release of funds by the Government.

V. Approximate costs of Travel:

Approximate cost of air ticket and visas charges as follows:

Air ticket (economy class)      : Rs. 1.10 – 1.40 lakhs  (India/Uganda/Sudan/Nigeria/India)

Visa charges                            :Rs. 35-40,000 (approximate)

The above is suggested schedule and members are at liberty to choose their one travel plan.  However, members have to ensure that they are available for the meetings as per schedule fixed.

Floor plans of IPHEX Africa at Nigeria and other details will be provided to the interested members separately.

VIII. Delegate Form:

Interested members may fill up the delegate form using following link on or 20^th January 2019.  It may be noted that as per the directions of Government, Council is required to scrutinize the profiles of the interested companies and select genuinely interested exporters.  Therefore, it is likely that some of the profiles may not be selected by the Council.
