Sub:Annual GSP Product & Country Practice Review by US - Extension of time till 30.12.2011

As members may be aware, Office of the United States Trade Representatives (USTR) modifies the list of the products that are eligible for duty free treatment under the GSP programme every year. The deadline for filing petitions requesting 'Competitive Need Limitations (CNL) waivers' is extended upto 30.12.2011. We enclose herewith relevant notification issued by USTR, for ready reference of members. Members who are interested to include their products under the list of products eligible for duty-free treatment under GSP programme, may file the necessary applications, with a copy to us.
