Dear Sir/Madam,

 

We would like to inform member companies that Council is in receipt of communication from Embassy of India, Vietnam informing that Hon'ble President of India is visiting Hanoi, Vietnam during 18-21st November 2018 The Hon'ble President shall be accompanied by a business delegation led by Confederation of lndian Industry (CII) in coordination with Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM).

 

During the visit of Hon'ble President of India to Vietnam, The "India - Vietnam Business Forum" is proposed to be organized between 13.30 and 18.30 hrs on 19th November 2018 (Monday) at Sheraton Hotel Hanoi. The Hon'ble President of  Republic of lndia would inaugurate the event and deliver a keynote address in the presence of leaders of the Government of Vietnam.

 

The focus areas for the "India Vietnam Business Forum" include Agriculture and Food processing, Infrastructure (roads, shipping etc), Power (conventional and renewable energy), Pharmaceuticals and Services (lCT, Tourism, education, health and medical services). There will be a session titled "Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals" 14.15-15.00 hrs on 19th November 2018.

 

In view of the fact that Vietnam is an important market for pharmaceuticals and there are many issues related to technical barriers to trade on pharma. Pharmexcil has  represented these issues at various levels. We request member companies to  actively participate in the "India Vietnam Business Forum" and take advantage of this opportunity.

 

Interested member companies are requested to send their confirmation by return email to dd.smk@pharmexcil.com at the earliest possible, for onward submission to the Embassy of India at Hanoi, Vietnam.
