Subject: International Business (BSM) & Regulatory Meet during 20-22nd August 2018 at Shanghai, China
Members are kindly aware, China is an important partner for India in the trade of Pharmaceuticals and reliance on China is very high for API/KSMs/Intermediates and India could export formulations to China marginally. Council represented the issue of delay in product registrations and market access for India pharmaceutical products and services.
During the recent visit of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, the subject of trade imbalance has been raised and requested Chinese side for market access of pharmaceuticals from India.
In continuation of the efforts by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Council with a view to take these discussions further, organising International Business and Regulatory Meet in the month of August 2018 at Shanghai, China.
Looking at the trade potential, India has exported USD 200 mn exports during the year 2017-18 with a growth rate of 37% over 2016-17.

Assistance to the participants:
Subject to the approval and release of finances by Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India and also other rules of MAI scheme, members whose export turnover for the previous year is less than Rs.30 crores and has 12 Months of membership with the Council, will be eligible for financial assistance to the extent of Rs. 70,000 towards travel expenses. MAI application& claims forms.
The assistance is available for first 25 member companies registering for the event, due to limited fund availability.
We would be soon sharing the venue details and related modalities. This mail should enable you to block your diary and participate in large numbers. These facilitation services can be organized successfully only due to your participation.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
1. The amount paid towards registration fee is non-refundable.
2. The registration fee will be refunded only in case, the Council cancels the event due to unavoidable circumstances.
