Subject: Pharma Business event is being organised in collaboration with Ministry of Health, Government of Mozambique and local Pharmacies Association, AFARMO

We would like to inform member companies that Pharmexcil is in receipt of communication from the High Commission of India at Mozambique that a business event of Pharma Sector is being organised in collaboration with Ministry of Health, Government of Mozambique and local Pharmacies Association, AFARMO.

Members are kindly aware, Mozambique is an important destination for India pharmaceuticals and during the year 2018-19 exports were USD 115 mn growing at 25% over the previous year. Mozambique is among the top destination of Africa at 9^th position with South Africa and Nigeria at first and second place with USD 619 mn and USD 448 mn respectively. The event is expected to be attended by more than 100 stakeholders, mostly Pharmacies and Chemists of Mozambique.

The country has the potential to further multiply as the Government of Mozambique has ambitious health programme for both prevention and cure. Minister of Health is expected to be the chief guest in this event.
