We are pleased to inform our member-exporters that India has joined European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on 11th July 2018 as its 69th Shareholder.

 

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was established to help build a new, post - Cold War era in Central & Eastern Europe and founded on 15th April 1991 in London. EBRD is currently operational in more than 37 countries in South Easter Europe, Central and Baltic State, Eastern Europe and Caucasus, North Africa, Central Asia, and Southern and Eastern Mediterranean (SEMED) region.

 

India's membership with EBRD is expected to bring potential opportunities for Indian Companies to invest and work in other regions of the world where the Bank is operational and help to step up the pace of joint investment with EBRD.
