Subject: BSM / Pharma Business Delegation to South Africa (BSM) 15th - 16th July 2019 and Tanzania (BSM) 18-19th July 2019 (MAI Assistance available) & SADC Pharma Pooled procurement.
This is in continuation of our circular dt: 24th May 2019, we are glad to inform member companies that Pharmexcil is organising BSM / Pharma Business Delegation to South Africa (15th to 16th July 2019), and Tanzania during 18 to 19 July 2019. The Delegation visit and its dates have been confirmed by India Mission at South Africa and Tanzania.

The delegation is scheduled to visit these countries as an approved activity under the MAI activity of the Council.
Participation Details:
Members may kindly note the following important points:
· It is mandatory to participate in two countries.
· Approximate cost of the flight ticket would be around Rs.82,000 by Emirates (as on 28th May). The options with Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines are provided as attachment (click here).
· Hotel name and tariffs (In consultation with Indian Missions abroad) will be informed shortly and payment to be made by participating members directly.
· Members can confirm their participation by return email to dd.smk@pharmexcil.com before 7th June 2019.
Cost of Participation/Terms:
The participation fee is Rs.40,000/- per delegate. This includes lunch during BSM days, local transfers, interpreters (wherever required) only and does NOT include air ticket, accommodation, dinners, visa charges or any other incidental charges. The amount is non-refundable and will be refunded only when the event is cancelled by Council due to any unavoidable circumstances.
Last Date:
Interested members may please confirm the participation by 7th June 2019 and send payments through DD in favour of Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India, payable at Hyderabad) before 7th June 2019.
MAI Support:
Members whose export turnover during the previous financial year is less than/upto Rs.30 crores and who have completed one year of membership will be eligible for assistance under new MAI scheme up to a maximum of Rs. 70,000/- towards air fare, subject to other conditions of new MAI scheme and approval by Ministry. The reimbursement of airfare is permissible only to the regular Director/Partner/Proprietor of the Company (any one).
