SEMINAR ON BAR CODING : ATTENTION : PACKAING DEPARTMENT

Dear Sir/Madam,
As you are aware, as per DGFT Public Notice 13, dated 22.5.2015(copy enclosed), all the pharmaceutical formulations exporters are required to upload data on exported consignments on the central portal maintained by NIC, Government of India, with effective from 01.10.2015. In this regard, Government has also constituted expert groupto look into various issues connected with implementation of the order. Accordingly, expert group had discussion with industry at Mumbai on 26.06.2015. It is now decided to hold such second interactive meeting with Industry at Hyderabad on 24.08.2015. An half day seminar on "Bar Code System - Drug Authentication and Verification Application (DAVA) with GS1 and NIC officials is being organized. Sri Sudhanshu Pandey IAS, Joint Secretary has kindly agreed to be the Chief Guest. The session will be followed by the presentations and interactive meeting with solution provider vendors for Barcoding system. The programme is given below.
