Seminar on Barcoding/DAVA

Dear Sir / Madam,
Members are aware of the serious problem being faced by the exporters at Customs due to non-compliance of stipulations (barcoding on secondary & tertiary packing as well as uploading of data on DAVA portal) as per DGFT Notification No. 52 dt. 5.1.2016 and Customs Notification No. 58 dt. 13.4.2018. Council took up the problems of member exporters to the notice of Government and requested for extension of time for uploading the data on DAVA portal. In a meeting held on 2nd May 2018, Government considered to keep aggregation and uploading of data on DAVA portal in abeyance for 6 months. Relevant notification is awaited, which will be circulated to the members as soon as it is issued by DGFT/Customs.
Pharmexcil is advised in the above meeting to conduct seminars/workshops on barcoding requirements as well as maintenance of parent-child relationship/uploading the data on DAVA portal at various cities in association with NIC and GS1 to ensure implementation of track and trace system for pharma exports strictly.
Accordingly, Pharmexcil is planning to organize Seminars/Workshops at all major cities in the coming two months. First Seminar is scheduled at Hyderabad as per following schedule:
