INTERACTIVE MEETING
TO DISCUSS ABOUT IMPLEMENTATION OF BARCODING

Dear Sir/Madam,
As members are aware, vide Pubic Notice No. 52 dated 5.1.2016, Small Scale Exporters were exempted from aggregation of Parent-Child relation between Secondary and Tertiary packings and uploading the same in DAVA portal up to 31.3.2017 while Non-SSI exporters were given time up to 31.3.2016. Also, vide Public Notice No. 3 dated 21.4.2016, Pharmexcil, in place of DCGI, was made concerned agency to scrutinize the applications received from exporters seeking exemption from barcoding in cases where the importing country has its own mandate for barcoding / serialization.
Subsequent to above notifications, there were many queries from members seeking clarifications / requests for exemptions from barcoding etc. While we, at Pharmexcil, tried our best to provide required clarifications, we thought it would be better an interactive meeting among all stakeholders would help the members.
In view of the above, an interactive meeting is organized as per following schedule:

Shri Sudhanshu Pandey, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Shri A K Sinha, Director, NIC, Senior Representatives from GS1, and Senior Officials from other related Government Departments would be attending the meeting to discuss and understand the issues of industry and also to provide clarifications.
Since it is an important meeting, we request the senior executives from the concerned departments like Packing, Production, Regulatory etc., to attend the meeting and get all the queries clarified.
Registration:
There is no registration fee to attend this meeting. However, we request all the interested members to register themselves duly indicating the names & designations of the executives attending by sending mail to info@pharmexcil.com on or before 10th May 2016.
We also request the members to send the issues, in brief, in advance so that the same will be forwarded to the concerned to enable them to attend the meeting with possible clarifications.
